WM Cadenhead's Tomatin 16 Year

Re-racked into Manzanilla hogsheads back in 2020, this Highland dram from Tomatin displays fruity and savoury notes of stroopwafels, orange peel, chamomile tea, salted bread and cola.

A fruity dram, sometimes tropically so as it ages, Tomatin has been a longtime favourite of some members of the Cadenhead's team (although sometimes choosing our favourite whiskies is like picking a favourite child).

Tomatin has received praise for its wood policy in recent times and their malts have gained popularity, so we are always delighted when we get to share some with our dedicated Cadenhead's fanbase.

NOSE

Very buttery, Cognac, brandy snaps, stroopwafels, banana

PALATE

Chamomile tea, orange peel, milk chocolate, cardamon.

FINISH

Pretzels, salted bread, caramelized brown sugar, cola.
