Linie Matured at Sea Aquavit

• Environmental Influence: The constant rolling of the waves, combined with fluctuating temperatures and humidity at sea, accelerates the aging process and enhances the spirit’s smoothness.
• Cask Aging: The spirit is matured in Oloroso sherry oak casks for a total of 16 months, including the time spent at sea.
• Traceability: You can find the specific details of your bottle's voyage—including the ship's name and the dates it crossed the equator—on the reverse side of the label.

• Aroma: A rich, complex bouquet of caraway and star anise, complemented by subtle citrus peel, vanilla, and oak.
• Palate: Exceptionally smooth and well-balanced. Leading notes of caraway and aniseed are layered with hints of sherry sweetness, toasted oak, and a faint maritime salinity.
• Finish: A medium-to-long, warming finish with lingering notes of licorice, spice, and dry oak

Best Enjoyed: Experts recommend serving it at room temperature in a tulip-shaped glass to allow the aromas to fully unfold.

• Food Pairings: It is a classic companion to traditional Scandinavian dishes like smoked salmon, marinated fish, pickled herring, and flavorful cheeses.
• Cocktails: Its refined spice profile makes it an excellent base for sophisticated cocktails, such as a Nordic-inspired "Bloody Mary" or a riff on an "Old Fashioned"
