Tasting Profile
Batch A125 is noted for its bold yet approachable character, balancing intense candy-like sweetness with robust barrel influence.
- Nose: Dominant aromas of RedHots cinnamon candy and candy apple, transitioning into buttery baked apple turnover, toasted bread, and dark caramelized sugar.
- Palate: A concentrated and silky texture featuring gooey caramel, pecan praline, and dark brown sugar. It displays a distinct doughy or pie crust quality that gives way to warming baking spices like clove and cinnamon.
- Finish: Long and warming, with evolving notes of chocolate-covered cherry, peach candy, and a lingering szechuan-like peppery tingle balanced by refined oak heat.
