Laphroaig 25 Year Old Final Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch

Bottled in 2019, this Laphroaig single malt has been matured in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks for a quarter of a century, before being bottled at cask strength. Waves of rich peat smoke mingle with warm spices, dried fruits and oak spice throughout the palate.

Nose: Sweet vanilla and wood spice, smoke and TCP, though restrained, some smoked bacon, with underlying dried fruit added to the mix.

Body: Rich round and full.

Palate: Very creamy and rich, with a full texture, peppery, spicy, iodine, saline and smokiness. There's also a little green apple fruit.

Finish: Very long and layered, waves of rich smoke and a peppery conclusion.
