Fidencio Tierra Blanca is a limited-release, unaged (Joven) mezcal celebrated for its deep minerality and unique "terroir". Produced by Maestro Enrique Jiménez in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, this expression is only released once every nine years due to the rarity of its source material.
The Jiménez family discovered a small vein of chalky, white soil on their farm, and they planted 3 small batches of Espadin in the unique soil. The chalky, Champagne-esque soil gives this mezcal a deep minerality. Tierra Blanca is released only once every nine years!
Key Characteristics
- Unique Terroir: It is crafted from 100% Espadín agave (Agave Angustifolia) grown in a small, rare vein of chalky, white, "Champagne-esque" soil discovered on the Jiménez family estate.
- Deep Minerality: This specific soil type infuses the mezcal with a profound mineral character that distinguishes it from the more common Fidencio Clásico.
- Limited Availability: Only three small batches were planted in this unique soil, making it one of the most exclusive items in the Fidencio Spirits portfolio.

- Aroma: Delicate smoke, chalk, white pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Palate: Slightly briny and mineral-heavy, with notes of mint, pear, roasted agave, and subtle citrus zest.
- Texture: Rich, soft, and creamy mouthfeel.
- Finish: Smooth and lingering with soft sweetness and a clean, mineral-driven end.

Production Methods:
- Cooking: Roasted in an earthen pit with volcanic rock and black oak for five days.
- Crushing: Traditional Tahona mill.
- Fermentation: Wild yeast in pine vats.
- Distillation: Double distilled in 500-liter copper alembic stills.
