Matured in Amarone and Sherry casks, before a finishing period in first-fill Amarone wine casks from Verona. This bold red wine has imparted a deep copper colour and rich flavour profile with layers of cherry, fig, raisin, and almond. As it crescendoes, a whisper of cinnamon combines with the heady wine maturation to provide a rich, full-bodied dram.

Each year, we pair the work of a chosen artist with a single malt expression carefully selected by Scott Ferguson. The 2024 release is aged in carefully selected Amarone casks from Veneto, Northern Italy.

TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Mulled wine with red fruits, complemented by gentle clove spice. A slice of cherry bakewell tart with some rum & raisin ice cream.
PALATE
Red fruits evolve into dark fruits as the Amarone influence takes hold. Blackberry compote and fig jam with a dusting of cracked black pepper.
FINISH
Glazed cinnamon bun and glacé cherries. A rewarding, sweet, and spicy finish.
