WINEMAKING NOTES
The grapes for this wine were selected from premier California vineyards by our Winemaker Beth Liston. The grapes for Dark Horse Merlot were harvested at optimum ripeness to ensure extraction of rich colors and velvety tannings. After the fermentation was complete, the wine was aged on oak to add complexity, toasted character and structure in the final blend.
