Ships from San Diego, California
Adult 21+ Signature Required Upon Delivery
Buffalo Trace Distillery continues to honor its heritage while pushing the boundaries of bourbon-making through ongoing experimentation and innovation by proving that even in a centuries-old craft, there’s always something new to discover. This spirit of curiosity is embodied in the Experimental Collection.
The Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection Oversized Barrel is a limited-edition bourbon aged in barrels significantly larger (250L or 500L) than standard, reducing wood-to-whiskey contact for slower, gentler maturation, resulting in smoother, more delicate flavors like honey, vanilla, caramel, and subtle spice, distinct from their traditional, intense profiles. It's part of Buffalo Trace's innovative series exploring barrel size impact, making it a sought-after collectible for enthusiasts.
