Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery 2026

Bardstown Bourbon 2026 Discovery blends three bourbons aged 7, 10 and 11 years, which were then rested for four months in garryana oak barrels. Each barrel was custom-made and hand-toasted for three hours by Oregon Barrel Works to unlock additional layers of spice and complexity. Summer aging was chosen for maximum extraction, and the whiskey was then gradually proofed before bottling.

Layers of decadent, toasted oak are supported by burnt sugar and baked apple cobbler. The balance continues on the palate with dried cherry and cinnamon bark, leading to a long, warming finish accentuated by the rare garryana oak flavor.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE

Toasted oak, burnt sugar, baked apple, and rich caramel with hints of vanilla.

PALATE

Baked apple and dried cherry combine with cinnamon, caramel, toasted oak, and subtle baking spice.

FINISH

Long and warming, with lingering cinnamon, dried fruit, burnt sugar, and distinctive toasted oak.
