Alfonso I Solera Brandy 700ml

Indulgent, slightly sweet, and aged for 12 months in American oak casks previously used to age Sherry in the unique and traditional Solera and Criadera aging system. Alfonso I Brandy is an ideal introduction to Brandy de Jerez for the uninitiated and delivers the delicious complexity old school brandy fans seek out.

TASTING NOTES

Light, amber colored brandy with golden tones. Its “estery” aroma corresponds to the high-quality distilled wines with which it is prepared, providing a reminder of their spirit. A smooth, mellow richness. Light oak tones, not as sweet compared to other Spanish brandy’s. Buttery textures and soft flavors of tangerine, nutmeg, maple, and Demerara syrup. Enjoy neat, over ice, or makes an excellent substitute for whisky or cognac cocktails such as a Side Car or an Old Fashioned.
