Volcán De Mi Tierra pays homage to and is named after a real volcano that sits in the lowlands of Jalisco,  Mexico: El Volcán de Tequila. 200,000 years ago. The Tequila volcano erupted and shaped the entire region.  Its eruption covered the area in rich volcanic soil, making the area ideal for the growth of blue agave.

Made from 100% Blue Weber Agave, Volcán X.A is a unique blend of Reposado, Añejo and Extra Añejo tequilas. The 3 layers of aging unveil a very smooth tequila profile. The reposado base brings the right level of sweetness and smoothness, while anejo and extra-anejo add aromatic elegance and complexity. A subtle recipe kept secret by Volcán's master distiller.

Volcán X.A reveals a perfect balance of cooked agave, hints of spices and sweet aromas such as notes of vanilla, caramel and dried fruits. To be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

ABOUT THE BOTTLE

The shape is inverted and tall which is the extension of the Tequila volcano's shape. The neck is inspired by modern Mexican pottery, a celebration of Volcán's origins. The stopper is a metaphorical descent to the heart of the volcano. The ridges and gold detailing represent the rays of the Volcán de Mi Tierra logo.

SUSTIANABILITY

Volcán De Mi Tierra acknowledges nature by reutilizing most of the resources and materials needed for creating our tequila. In order to maintain an ecological balance we commit to recycle, not only for the benefit of our communities, but also for the welfare of the generations to come.

From field to market, we take great care at every step of the process by blending tradition with leading technology, taste with nature, and craft with flavor.

Evaluation and preparation of the soil, in both owned and leased lands, ensures minimum use of pesticides and agro chemicals.

Volcán De Mi Tierra distillation residues are treated to clean water for the distillery and are used as fertilizer and soil improver in crops.

Packaging residuals are recycled in local facilities, involving our communities in the process of creating our tequila.
