TASTING NOTES
NOSE
A robust toasted rye bread with notes of farm fresh sweet butter, hints of cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg fill out the alluring aroma.
PALATE
Robust, flavorful straight rye whiskey. In addition to the Rye, there is an immediate sensation of sweet butter combined with allspice. The sweetness of the Bayou Rum XO finish mingles across the tongue with the rye and spices, for a fresh unique flavor.
FINISH
Smooth, with the sweetness of butter and allspice giving way to a long and pleasant nutmeg sensation in the throat.
