Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé
In the history of Champagne, wines that were blended for greater sweetness were customarily described as « Rich ». In Russia, consumers would add sugar to their champagne, thus adding a personal touch to their wine.
The Rich Rosé blend is completed with 15% Pinot Noir red wine.
Rich’s uniqueness is in its dosage of 60 g/L, which enhances the blend’s aromas. As Veuve Clicquot’s Cellar Master shares, “Sugar in champagne is like spices in a recipe: used correctly it can bring out specific aromas and play with flavors.
Veuve Clicquot collaborated with skilled mixologists to select the perfect ingredients to naturally enhance the wines’ flavors, while adding a unique twist. Alongside Maison oenologist, Veuve Clicquot RICH ROSÉ has been paired with its own complements, to bring out its characteristic red fruit notes: ginger, pineapple, lime, tea – all on the rocks.
On the palate, citrus and floral notes combine perfectly with a dynamic freshness and creamy finish.
The signature Pinot Noir of the Veuve Clicquot style is given a new versatility with a higher dosage, while a greater presence of Meunier emphasizes fresh, fruity and luscious notes.
Veuve Clicquot Rich Rosé is an innovation on the house’s signature blend and features both a higher dosage as well as a greater presence of Meunier which emphasizes the fresh, fruity and gourmand notes.
