Smoke Wagon Man O War Cocktail Kit

The Man o’ War cocktail is named for one of the greatest racehorses of all time, a horse that won 20 of the 21 races in which he competed. While Man o’ War (the horse) didn’t run in the Kentucky Derby, he won the other two legs of the Triple Crown—the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes—in 1920, forever solidifying his place in racing’s history books. He was also the sire of Triple Crown winner War Admiral and the grand-daddy of Seabiscuit, another famed thoroughbred, so Man o’ War’s ties to the sport are immense. Naturally, someone made a drink in his honor.

• Smoke Wagaon Straight Bourbon Whiskey 750ml  x 1
• Gran Gala 750ml x 1
• Sweet Vermouth 750ml  x 1
• Filthy Foods Black Cherries x 1

HOW TO MAKE THE COCKTAIL

Ingredients

• 2 oz. Smoke Wagon Bourbon
• 1 oz. Gran Gala orange liqueur
• 0.5 oz. Sweet Vermouth
• 0.5 oz. Lemon juice, freshly squeezed

Instructions

1. Add ice to your cocktail shaker
2. Add the ingredients
3. Shake until chilled
4. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice
5. Add garnish (orange peel and cherries)
6. Enjoy!

Filthy Foods Black Cherry should not be refrigerated. Putting it in the fridge will ruin the syrup and shorten its shelf life.
