Marie Duffau uses only estate grown, organically raised fruit from a 12 hectare vineyard in the heart of Bas Armagnac. The spirit is then created using a single, slow distillation which preserves the precious complexity of the fruit. Marie Duffau Napoleon Bas Armagnac is matured for six years prior to bottling. The result is a distinctive Armagnac with a bouquet of walnut, apple, pear, caramel, and toffee. The palate displays notes of chocolate, orange zest, vanilla, and loam, while a hint of tannins lent by the oak carry through the finish.
