Taking it up a notch, our Buttery Chardonnay is richer and fuller-bodied with aromas of fresh citrus and melted butter. Flavors of vanilla, buttercream, and caramel meld together from the lovely oak integration. This style is achieved by malolactic fermentation and a very focused new oak aging, approach which was dialed in through trials with 30 different oaks—the result enhances those flavors of butterscotch and brown sugar. The wine spent approximately two months in 100% French oak with a medium toast level. It’s a rich Chardonnay and for those who love the buttery style, this wine’s profile is ideal.
