Charles & Charles Rosé

Charles Bieler and Charles Smith have formed a strategic alliance with Trinchero Family Estates for their successful joint wine venture, Charles & Charles. Bieler and Smith will continue to direct the winemaking and vision for the brand, sourcing the highest quality grapes from their strong grower relationships throughout Washington State, and crafting and bottling the wines in the Columbia Valley. Charles & Charles has always been about two guys turning Washington’s old-school dirt and New World fruit into a true original.

The Charles and Charles Rosé is far from heavy but there’s a creaminess on the palate that is gorgeous. The color is pale salmon with flashes of a coppery pink. The aromatics lead with notes of wild raspberry and cherry, giving in to bright citrus, Herbs de Provence and lavender. There’s a strong note of rose petal as well. All this carries through on a broad, almost creamy mid-palate and finally a tangy bright finish.
