TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Opens with a variety of red fruits such as cherry, pomegranate molasses and blood orange before progressing into dried figs, acacia honey and nutmeg before finishing on menthol and hardwood resin.
PALATE
Bringing in more cherry, whipped cream, dark chocolate and sponge cake, reminding me of a Black Forest gateau.
FINISH
Long, warming and spiced, with further notes of coffee, cinnamon and a return of that menthol freshness from the nose, which lingers pleasantly. It's a gorgeous dram that balances freshness and richness with an elegant harmony, showcasing the refinement and maturity only a well-aged single malt can deliver.
